| Class 40 | Tuesday, December 02 |
All right, this week we have the Singing Quiz on Wednesday, Final Projects the other days this week, and today I'll give out the study guide for the final. I'm hoping we'll get our Homework #9's in as well.
"Singing Quiz" No. 2
The Prep Sheet tells you what to prepare for our second oral quiz, which will be on Wed, Dec 3. You'll do a little bass cleffing, a rhythm with sixteenth notes, and one tune in a major key.
Lemme make a template for the schedule, so I can fill them in really quick when we decide who goes when.

Homework #9: Minor Scales
Worksheet #9 asks you to make a few minor scales, in the regular and harmonic-minor flavors. You can read about it on pp. 38-41 of the textbook.
This assignment is due Tues, Nov 25 (i.e. the Tuesday before Thanksgiving).
Final Notation Project: Short Composition
In the first week of December we'll also present our final notation projects. The specifications are basically the same as last time, though this sheet tweaks a few of the details. I would love to hear some "early birds" on Tues, Dec 2 and get everybody in by Fri, Dec 5.
Our Final is Thursday, Dec 11 at 11:00am
The study guide tells you what will be on it. You can use our documents page to look for old worksheets and stuff, and as always I recommend tonesavvy.com for automated practice.
Lemme know if you have any crazy last-minute questions!
