Calendar Alert: Next Tuesday, Oct 15 will follow a Monday schedule, so we will not meet.
For this session we'll play around with identifying intervals by ear. People like to refer to certain tunes to help remember what certain intervals sound like, and I have powerpoint of some good ones.
Also I think we'll maybe play TRIAD WAR.
Homework #8 is due today and I'll assign #9.
Worksheet #8: Intervals I
Assignment No. 8 asks you to make and ID a lot of the "small" intervals (minor 2nd through perfect 5th). These are covered on pp. 49-53 of our theory textbook.
Due date is Tues, Oct 8.
Worksheet #9: More Triads and Intervals
We never officially did homework with diminished and augmented triads, so Worksheet #9 is our one chance before the next test. In addition it gives you another round of small intervals to work on.
This one is due on Wednesday, Oct 16.
