All right, it was fun meeting everybody yesterday and starting this brand new class.
In Class 2 we'll review all of that rhythm stuff and I'll give you your first paper worksheet.
So here's a rundown of current assignments:
Homework #1: Student survey
OK, I've got two survey responses, which is pretty good. Remember that you have to register an account on this website first, and then the student survey asks you a few questions about your musical background, what kind of music you like, etc. If you complete it before class on Fri, Sept 6 you get an automatic 100, and after that deadline you can still do it for a 92.
Homework #2: Rhythm Stuff I
This one asks you to add a count to some rhythms and draw rhythms based on a count. If you need a refresher on how it all works there is coverage on pp. 6-9 of our theory textbook.
Homework #2: Rhythms in 4/4 is due next Wednesday, Sept 4.
