This day was our first "Performance Quiz." Results were great, with some people showing up very prepared and basically nailing everything, and others running into a little difficulty but eventually figuring it all out. Grades were all some variety of an A.
Worksheet #4: Reading Transposed Melodies
This is a paper version of something we've been doing lately in class. Worksheet #4 asks you to look at a few simple melodies and identify the names of the notes and also their solfege syllables. As I move the melodies into new keys you'll have new notes to name and some key signatures to deal with.
This assignment is due on Tuesday, Sept 17.
