OK, in class we did some more of those little in-class analyses, I gave you two new pages (pp. 40-41) in our textbook. Homework #7 is due and I gave out #8, which is one of those "must do it on time" assignments.
Homework #7: Secondary V7s, Part One
Worksheet #7 asks you to label some "V7 of ____" chords in keyboard-style progressions.
It is due on Tues, March 4, though I will take it late.
Homework #8: Beethoven Pathétique Sonata, Second Movt
On worksheet #8 we'll try to put roman numerals on a sonata movement by Beethoven. It has a lot of inverted chords and a few secondary dominants (V7 of ____).
