Class 27Friday, March 22

By this date I had definitely added another worksheet ("Fake #12") to the pile, due on the Wednesday before Easter. Fake #11 was due on this date.

Worksheet #12: Diatonic Triads (= "Fake #11")

Unfortunately Assignment #12 has the wrong sequence number on it. This asked you to give the triads for various roman numerals in different keys. The pattern of roman numerals is covered in Chapter 15 of our theory textbook.

Worksheet #13: Triad Inversions (= "Fake #12")

Once again Assignment #13 has the wrong worksheet number on it, but we are not going to let that stop us. Here we are practicing making and recognizing various triads in first and second inversion. Chapter 16 in our theory textbook explains how this works.

Because of Easter I had to take the unusual step of assigning this for Wednesday, March 27.
